Project Engineer / Technical Analyst

A leading renewable energy platform is seeking a Project Engineer to support the development and construction of onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects internationally. This role covers the full project lifecycle—from site selection and feasibility studies to energy yield assessments, technical due diligence, and contractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct wind resource analysis and energy yield assessments using industry-standard tools.

  • Support site selection, feasibility studies, and project layout optimisation.

  • Assist with technical and commercial evaluation of renewable energy investment opportunities.

  • Contribute to technical due diligence, tender preparation, and contractor negotiations.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and provide inputs on CAPEX, OPEX, energy yield, and construction timelines.

  • Manage external engineering consultants and perform site visits to prospective projects.

Candidate Profile

  • BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate in Renewable Energy is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years’ project engineering experience in wind/solar projects.

  • Proficiency in software such as WAsP, WindPRO, OpenWind, PVSyst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to travel for project site assessments.
