Land Manager

Ventus is working with a leading onshore wind developer, to appoint a Land Manager in Glasgow.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support senior team members in preparing and negotiating Heads of Terms, Option Agreements, and Lease Agreements, ensuring full land assembly packages are secured, including access and grid rights.

  • Assist in the identification and evaluation of new sites across the UK for onshore renewable energy developments, including wind, solar, and energy storage.

  • Manage and resolve land-related matters for active development sites and those transitioning into the construction phase.

  • Liaise effectively with landowners and their representatives to facilitate agreement on key land documentation and secure long-term project rights.

Candidate requirements:

  • Proven experience engaging with landowners, agents, and solicitors, particularly in the context of negotiating land agreements.

  • Background or knowledge in land/property, legal frameworks, or the energy sector.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
