Client Representative - Foundations

Rate - £650 / day

We’re working with a leading offshore wind developer, to appoint a Client Representative for the Foundations package on an executive-phase project in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the client’s eyes and ears offshore, overseeing contractor operations and ensuring compliance with HSE standards, project procedures, and technical specifications.

  • Monitor daily offshore activities, including foundation installation, cable laying, turbine erection, commissioning, and marine operations.

  • Report and document progress, incidents, and deviations to the onshore project team.

  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections.

  • Review and verify method statements, risk assessments, and work permits.

  • Ensure quality assurance and assist in the resolution of technical or operational issues.

  • Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders, including contractors, vessel crews, and the onshore project team.

Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in offshore construction, preferably within wind energy, oil & gas, or marine infrastructure.

  • Previous role as Client Rep, Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), or Offshore Supervisor is desirable.

  • Strong understanding of offshore HSE regulations and marine operations.

  • Technical background in engineering, construction, or marine disciplines.

  • Valid offshore survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET, GWO), medicals, and seafarer documentation.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

  • Ability to work on rotation offshore for extended periods.
