Senior Project Engineer - Offshore Wind

Ventus is working with a leading EPC Contractor, to appoint a Senior Project Engineer, focusing on Transport & Installation activity in the offshore wind sector.

Main Accountabilities

  • Prepare project-specific drawings and procedures for bids and tenders.

  • Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts and review subcontractor documentation.

  • Prepare and review planning for project preparation and execution.

  • Take responsibility for project documentation & deliverables, managing relationships with subcontractors and internal Teams to deliver on time and on schedule.

  • Support interfaces & technical queries, both internally and externally.

  • Support subcontractors to ensure design and fabrication takes place in compliance with all relevant standards.

  • Review and monitor risks and opportunities to ensure these are identified, recorded, and suitably addressed.

  • Contribute to internal meetings, client and subcontractor meetings, yard visits, mobilisations, and offshore works as required.

  • Communicate best practice and lessons learned to other projects and stakeholders.

  • Support and mentor less experienced members of the Engineering Team.

Experience & Qualifications

  • BEng / BSc or Meng / MSc in Civil / Mechanical / Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.

  • Background in leading engineering packages in offshore wind or traditional energy industries.
