Chief Financial Officer - Offshore Wind

Ventus has partnered with a world-leading offshore wind developer, with a global portfolio of projects - from development through to operations - to appoint a CFO, to form a critical part of its Leadership Team in the Philippines.
The role:
As Project CFO, you will have overall responsibility for the project’s financial operations, strategy, and compliance. You will play a central role in securing project funding and liquidity, driving business case development, and leading the project to Financial Close.
This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will shape the financial roadmap while ensuring robust execution across all financial workstreams.
You will report directly to the Project CEO and work closely with Directors for Procurement, Technical, and Development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Lead all financial activities, including accounting, controlling, tax, investment analysis, treasury, and hedging.
• Secure project financing – take lead on external debt financing and funding workstreams.
• Drive business case management – develop financial models and key assumptions.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis, forecasting revenue and costs.
• Ensure liquidity and cash flow management for the project.
• Manage financial risk (FX, interest rates, cost exposure).
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Secure a bankable, investable route-to-market (offtake strategy).
• Communicate effectively with shareholders through SteerCo and BoD meetings.
Your experience:
• +10 years of experience in energy and infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of taking renewable projects to Financial Close (offshore wind experience is an advantage, but not required).
• Highly skilled in project financing, financial strategy, and business case development.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in international, large-scale projects.
• Willingness to relocate to Manila.
